Capilano University
At Capilano University, Continuing Education offers lifelong learning opportunities to thousands of students who enroll each year in non-credit courses for personal and professional development, or pure enjoyment. Innovative programming is available for all ages beginning with Community Music School through to Eldercollege, and a wide variety of programs in between, such as arts, career development, film studies, computer training, business and finance, communications, languages, adult music and natural history. Capilano also offers short-term language training programs that can be combined with recreational and cultural activities.
Crossroads Conference
The Crossroads Conference on February 28, 2009, was a great success! With over 200 delegates, 30 facilitators and 50 volunteers, many proposals were made, discussed and approved. Both delegates and facilitators left with a feeling of achievement and success.

Forum for Women Entrepreneurs
Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (British Columbia) is a not for profit society run by and for its members, whose mission is to mentor and educate women entrepreneurs. Industry specific mentors and peers educate members through training sessions, mentor relationships, lecture series and forums on subjects such as business planning, financing, selecting a board of directors, legal issues, intellectual property protection, sales, marketing, partnering, deal structuring and licensing.

Students will learn a wide range of advanced hairdressing skills including: precision haircutting (advanced design and shape), texturizing, multidimensional haircolouring, foiling techniques, advanced perming techniques, and numerous advanced styling techniques.

SEA - Vancouver Student Entrepreneurship Association (formerly TEC UBC) was founded in 2004 by a small group of Engineering Physics students at UBC.
